enjoyable stay with a few minor hiccups
The room was spacious and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Staff members, especially Margarite, were attentive and always ready to assist. The dining experience was great, showcasing exquisite dishes and excellent service. The sea view from my room added a amazing touch to my mornings.
The walk back from the main attractions can be quite lengthy and may be a challenge for some guests.

My stay was really enjoyable which was supposed to be a very special night. The hotel's staff was superbly friendly and outstandingly accommodating. It was based in beautiful building in a favourable and magnificent location, to listen to such beautiful music by such talented people overlooking the sea. And it was also close enough to restaurants, the main square and the Amalfi coast from the front desk to the excellent team in the restaurant.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with charming original Vietri tiles and Murano glass lamps. Accessibility for seniors was a plus, as staff were always willing to assist with my needs and luggage.
Long walk from Ravello can be challenging for seniors.

Music in the restaurant. In the evening light classical music would be more in keeping with the style of (excellent) dining instead of jazz or its equivalent .( The hotel is part of the Relais De Silence association) . The music at breakfast was intrusive radio/popular and none would have been preferable .The snacks by the pool at the Giordino were overpriced and poor quality .

I think the hotel was beautifully designed and intimate, would book here again. I really enjoyed the place, it was clean & the staff were hospitable and highly courteous. As for me, the location was amazing and stunning, just next door to the main square of Ravello-, the historic centre between the Clarisse nunnery, and all the shops/restaurants in Ravello. I ate at the outdoor restaurant near the venue. Overall the service was admirable.

First off, the location is pristine, high on the cliffs overlooking the Amalfi coast. It's hard to miss the view, as the hotel is situated in a way where the view dominates. It truly is a stunning location. Second, the staff was more than helpful, regardless the request. On several occasions my wife and I preferred to dine en-suite (on our terrace), even though there's technically no "room service." The restaurant staff at Villa Maria didn't hesitate in providing full menu service, and a beautiful table setting on our patio. Very well done, and very much appreciated.
My only complaint, and it's certainly not something that would keep me from making a return trip, or recommending to friends and family, is that the pillows in room are woefully thin/uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's a fantastic retreat, and we will be returning.

Charming Stay with Fine Views
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful decor throughout the hotel. Breakfast with a view of the Amalfi Coast was a highlight! Friendly staff offered recommendations for local dining. Just note that parking is a bit far, but overall a lovely experience for families.

The view from the room was very nice - overlooking the countryside and ocean. The room was quiet, birds were chirping all the time. The location of the hotel is very nice and the hotel has a relaxing atmosphere.
We were initially offered a room with no view even though the website states that most standard rooms are with view. We had announced we are on our honeymoon. We were told there were no other free rooms in the hotel ( we arrived late night) . However, it turned out, after asking other hotel staff, that there were multiple additional free rooms. We felt we were pushed into accepting a 'superior room' to get us to pay 60 Euro more per night.

The stay highlighted a amazing outdoor dining area with fine views and an inviting atmosphere. The staff were kind and helpful, particularly when securing restaurant reservations. Enjoying delicious food, including small, square hamburgers, added to the overall experience and comfort. The long walk from the center can be challenging for some, and daily hills are a moderate workout.

We loved the Villa Maria! The girls at the front desk were extremely helpful and polite. We were met in Ravello piazza by a man who carried our bags all the way up to the hotel! The room had a balcony with a million euro view of the sea and dramatic coast of Amalfi. Dinner was excellent and extremely tasty, the cuisine was highly refined and elevated. We can not think of a better place to spend your time in Ravello.

Unique dining experience in beautiful gardens.
The concierge service was disappointing. Key details were missed before my arrival, causing confusion about luggage transport from the taxi drop-off. The staff didn't seem to care much when I had to wake the security for my morning walks. After expressing my concerns, I still seemed like they brushed them off.
